Barking Beauties Policies 

It is super important that you read our policy's before making a booking.

Pets are accepted for grooming only under the following circumstances....
The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming which takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk. Grooming may expose pre-existing health\skin conditions for which Barking Beauties cannot be held liable.
In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Barking Beauties to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense. 
Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment can be cash or credit card. Our rates are based on the breed of the pet and duration of the groom. Nail cutting and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet or too dangerous for the groomer. 
We do NOT offer anal gland expression, as this should be performed by a licensed veterinarian. 
“De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Barking Beauties cannot be held liable. 
1. Cancellations 
Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 24 hours notice to waive the £20 deposit of the appointment fee.
In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 24 hour period.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.    
we require 24 hours notice to cancel a appointment. if not met the cancelation period then we have the right to keep the £20 deposit. 
2. No-Shows
It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.
We reserve the right to keep the £20 deposit fee or No show fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or client for any reason.
every groom scheduled will require a £20 deposit for each dog. the deposit will be taken off the groom price on the day of the appointment or rolled on for the next appointment made. 
3. Deposit Policy
For all customers, we do require a £20 deposit. This is only required over the phone, face to face and via a link sent to your phone number. 
The deposit will be debuted from the final cost of the groom but is forfeited if the client does no attend or cancel the appointment within the cancellation window of 24 hours. 
you may leave your deposit rolling on for the next appointment which will  be recorded and you are entitled to have returned at any point. 
3. Complaints 
Complaints must be made aware 48 hours after the grooming appointment. After 48 hours we are unable to help unless otherwise specified. 
If a vet has issued a injury being the groomers fault. we require permission given by the client to have communication with the vet or veterinary practice. 
if the Vet has stated that any injuries has been caused by a groomer then we will cover all costs with the proof from the vet. 
4. Social media and photography 
We may take photographs of your pets for out portfolio, social media or promotional use. If you do not wish your pets photo to be taken, please inform us prior to the appointment.
